Biodiversity News- Declining insect populations in Germany

(External News) A new study released in PLOS ONE indicates that populations of insects in German nature reserves have declined by more than 75% in 27 years. Factors driving the dramatic loss are not yet clear. Scientists are speculating however, that intensive agriculture has played a role.
